Former Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC) appeared on The Howard Stern Show for the first time on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Clinton did not pull any punches, tackling such wide-ranging topics as her sexuality, her view on Trump's inauguration speech and her theory on what happened to Senator Lindsey Graham's brain.

Clinton Confirms That She Likes Men

Howard Stern has developed a reputation as a radio talk show host who's skilled at getting his guests to open up and share their unfiltered, off-the-cuff opinions. Stern's interview of Hillary Rodham Clinton was no exception; it did provide plenty of candid insights from Hillary Clinton.

Clinton and Other Gutsy Women

Hillary Clinton made an appearance on Stern's radio show to promote her recently released book, "The Book of Gutsy Women," that she co-wrote with her daughter, global health advocate and Clinton Foundation board member, Chelsea Clinton. Hillary confirmed, once and for all, that women can be intelligent and still like men. Rodham Clinton stated that she was aware that there have been rumors about her sexuality for many years. Clinton went on the record as saying that no matter what Stern might have heard, "I actually like men."

Clinton Denies Lesbian Affairs

Howard Stern, in trademark style, asked HRC to raise her right hand and swear that she'd never had a lesbian affair. "Never, never, never," Hillary Rodham Clinton laughed. The former Senator from New York, former First Lady, and former US Secretary of State then added that she had dated a lot of different people before she began dating Bill Clinton in college. "Boys were not my problem," stated Rodham Clinton to Howard Stern.

Trump's Inauguration Speech

"Obviously, I was crushed," Clinton said to the radio talk show host, upon learning that she had lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump. Hillary did share with Stern that attending Trump's inauguration was one of the most difficult things she's ever had to do.

Hillary Rodham Clinton did tell Howard Stern that she's grateful to President George W. Bush for helping to lighten the mood after Trump delivered an unusual inauguration speech in which he described a potentially dystopian future for the United States. Hillary said that her initial reaction to the 2017 speech was that she couldn't believe what she'd just heard.

Bush's Reaction to Trump's Speech

While she was still processing Trump's speech, President Bush leaned over to her and said, "Well, that was some weird sh**." Photographs that were taken of Hillary and Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush standing on the podium on Inauguration Day next to Trump show all three laughing. Hillary admitted to Stern that was the reason.

Did Stern Get Hillary to Talk 2020?

At one point during the December 4, 2019 radio interview, Howard Stern did try to nail down Hillary about whether she's considering a run for the White House in 2020. She didn't give a definitive answer to the question. Clinton did advise that she believes Vice President Joe Biden will most likely get the 2020 nomination since he's currently leading in many opinion polls.

Rodham Clinton added that she does believe Senator Bernie Sanders did hurt her political chances during the 2016 election when he didn't immediately endorse her. She mentioned that she hopes that Sen. Sanders doesn't do something similar to that in the 2020 election. Hillary hopes that "once is enough," and that Sanders will quickly endorse any Democratic nominee. HRC made it very clear to Howard Stern that she plans to stay out of the way of the current Democratic candidates, and that she will endorse the future nominee of the Democratic Party.

Clinton on What Happened to Lindsey Graham

During the interview, Howard Stern did bring the discussion around to Hillary's take on conservative Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Stern reminded her that she had once upon a time gotten along with Graham. Lindsey Graham, in turn, had stated in a "Time" magazine article in 2006 that he thought highly of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hillary stated that she wasn't sure what has happened to Graham, and she went on to criticize "cowardly" Republicans who appear unwilling to counter Trump.

Lindsey Graham and Body Snatchers

When Stern wanted to know if maybe Graham has made some kind of deal with the devil, Hillary said that she believes it's a good question. "It's like he's had a brain snatch, you know?" Hillary commented about the Lindsey Graham she sees lately. During the interview, Rodham Clinton shares with Howard Stern that it's been many years since she's last had a lengthy conversation with the conservative senator.
